Welcome everyone!! To the 1 Year in Wrestling Podcast!!!
Methodical Matt Gardiner and Cryogenically-frozen Chris Achtymichuk (from Calgary...Alberta Canada) bring you a weekly series that follows the following format :
Week 1 of the month : WWE PPV review from previous month (Feb will be Royal Rumble review, for example)
Week 2 of the month : Current News (WWE, AEW, NJPW, NWA...whatever comes up!)
Week 3 of the month : Rewatch/review 1996 WCW PPV or Clash of Champions
Week 4 of the month : Rewatch/review 1996 WWF/E PPV
We'll be starting on the year 1996 - one of the most pivotal years in wrestling history...The Boyhood Dream, nWo forms, Austin 3:16 is born, the Curtain Call, Hart/Austin, the bogus Razor and Diesel...A LOT of meat on the bone here.
We'll be paralleling 1996 with the current news of today....
And we will continue on from 1996 to 2001 (and beyond?)
....so basically this podcast has a "6 year shelf-life" or 6 seasons, at the minimum as we relive the boom era that was the Attitude Era!!
