This was a HUGE PPV for Chris and I - as it happened right in our backyard.
Chris actually attended the Monday Night Raw the following evening here in Edmonton - which saw The Hart Foundation all come out wearing Oilers jerseys, famous for Bret’s “Our beer tastes butter” promo.
As Chris mentions, there are only 4 matches on this PPV!
The main event is an absolute barn-burner classic..so fun to see all 10 guys in around their prime fighting on the side of Canada vs USA. (Harts v Austin, Goldust, LOD and Shamrock).
Mankind and HHH have another solid match, but its the brawl outside the Saddledome that is most memorable.
Annnnnd Vader gets the tar beaten out of him -AGAIN! (vs Undertaker). We are nearing his imfamous "I'm a big fat piece of $hit" promo.
Great stuff here! Ah, the nostalgia.
