This week we cover Frank Costello who ran with Lucky Luciano during the early Mafia days. After Luciano took control of what is now the Genovese family, Frank was his Consigliere and later became the boss after Luciano was deported back to Italy. He is perhaps more famous for his feud with Vito Genovese for control of the family which he ultimately lost and lived out his life in semi-retirement. He is also said to be the inspiration behind the Don Corleone character in Godfather.
