This week we cover The Commission which is the governing body of the Mafia. Consisting of all 5 New York families as well as a couple other families around the country, they decide the most important issues facing the Mafia mainly to prevent warfare between families and they also vote on who will become new bosses of families when the situation calls for it. We will go through the forming of the Commission as well as some important events involving it such as the Apalachin Meeting and the Commission Trials in the 80s.
