The hero and heroine journey have been a part of every culture going back thousands of years. They are a reflection of who we are and where were going. Whether its Odysseus, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Luke Skywalker, Frodo, or Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games, these characters resonate with us because they are us.
