Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Dr. Ritz discusses the challenges she faced growing up in the Southern African country where there was a clear divide between privileged and non-privileged. How one inexplicable decision by her grandmother, who didn't speak English and couldn't read or write, changed the course of history for her and her family.
She also discusses what role education played in her life, the importance of HOPE and why we should stay flexible to those things that are happening in our lives.
