Christopher Hitchens said it best - We all have to choose our own regrets. I love this and how it plays directly into the power of choice that we have. Today I discuss the seemingly irrational emotional responses to changes in the national political landscape in the United States. Between the death of Ruth Bader Ginsberg and the fall out from our political leadership we are seeing some unusually hyper emotional responses. How is it that the response to one death can create so much fear and anxiety within an individual? Thankfully we covered this last week, so if you didn't listen go back and check it out. But we will briefly rehash and discuss the choices that we are making and identify which choices will lead to regrets that we will look back upon and laugh at or those that we will shake our heads at asking why did we waste out lives on things like this.
