Stand-up comedy has been a way for comics to poke fun at the rich and powerful. Or to bring a different perspective to a situation to show how absurd or ridiculous they might be. Carolyn Davis is a stand-up comedian in Halifax. And she was gracious enough to talk about the environment she and many of her contemporaries are facing when it comes to finding the funny. She also shares her thoughts on the words people choose and how they need to be put in context in the space they are being shared.
