Description

I recently attended a three-day Native American conference on "The Work of Sovereignty" hosted by Tulsa University's School of Humanities and their School of Law. I learned quite a bit hanging out for three days with attorneys and tribal elders. Here's my first share regarding the Iroquois tribe's "Seventh Generation Principle" to make decisions in life considering the past seven generations before you and to consider the future seven generations ahead of you--this is DEEP TIME--not immediate gratification. Big difference. Want to make things better? Think seven generations.
