I struggled so much in February because everyday last month was full of disturbing and dehumanizing anti-black events. Things were so hurtful that I shut down and used work as a buffer to get through the days. I thrive off a sense of completion, so I let work carry me and as a result, I had a productive month in which I made decisions that enhanced growth and communication. I am proud of my work, but March cannot be this way. I want less acts of anti-blackness, less dehumanization and less cooning!
