Cindy Blackman Santana grew up in Yellow Springs, Ohio & began playing drums at a very young age. Cindy was able to befriend some of her favorite musicians & drummers growing up.
Eventually, Cindy met Lenny Kravitz and was his drummer for 17 years playing all over the world. Cindy is also married to and the current drummer for Carlos Santana!
