The Dallas County Sheriff's Office confirmed with Local 5 that an active shooter was on the campus the morning of Jan. 4, 2024. The high school is located at 1200 8th Street in Perry. One dead so far and two people injured. The shooter is dead from a self-inflicting gun shot.
