A United Airlines flight was disrupted when a passenger stood up, made threatening comments, then assaulted a flight attendant. Fellow passengers took action and restained the man for the remainder of the flight. In the wake of that incident, Sara Nelson, the president of a union representing flight attendants, appeared on CNN to advocate for the training and use of stun guns to subdue unruly passengers.
