"When I started thinking about recording this new album, I was searching for a fresh and different approach to anything I'd done before. It seemed ironic and crazy to me that I'd never actually recorded or 'created' music with the people who've played the most music with me, for most of my career - my touring band. That realisation floored me, curiosity immediately turned to creative excitement. 'The Band Album' was born.
