Today's episode I start with an interview with the Voice of the Shockers Mike Kennedy. The "Voice of the Shockers" is highly regarded for his descriptive, no-nonsense play-by-play accounts, famous for his call of Greg Brummett's final pitch over Texas in the 1989 CWS and of Mike Jones game winning basket over Kansas in the 1981 "Battle of New Orleans." Also the Wichita State victory over Kansas Jayhawks Football in 1982 by a score of 13-10 led by Prince McJunkins. Honored six times by his peers as the Kansas Sportscaster of the Year. Inducted, in 1995. And of course I have the Kansas High School Football Playoffs scoreboard.
