Al Striplen grew up watching his parents work hard all of their lives. He learn the importance of having a strong work ethic from them. However, they did not want him to follow in their footsteps that’s why his father strongly encouraged him to go to col-lege. The degree was important, but the relationships he developed propelled him for the rest of his professional career. His excellent work ethic and the good fortune of being in the right place at the right time were paramount. He is a perfect example that relationships matter.
