Tonight's episode is a long-awaited history lesson. After Herbert Stempel and Charles Van Doren, there were hearings. Those hearings led to lawsuits. Those lawsuits led to laws. Those laws helped save the game show genre as we know it, even though it was at a major risk of disappearing altogether for many, many years.
