During the Nebraska Broadcaster’s Association Governor’s Monthly Call In Show, Pillen said he would advocate for the state to take over the funding of K through 12 schools in Nebraska. To pay for the plan, Pillen says he wants to broaden the tax base through the elimination of sales tax exemptions.
