Description

Bikini shots of insta models and celebs on vacation seem to be a daily reminder in our newsfeeds of what we should look like. On a positive note, social media can allow potential patients to see what’s available and have access to real results, but on the opposite side of the coin, it can set an unrealistic standard. Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Rahban has found that sense of self is entirely based on comparison and the dial of what is “the norm”. Unsurprisingly, with filters and editing, this dial has been drastically shifted and self-image has never been more skewed in history. Join Dr. Rady Rahban and Monique Marvez as they dive into social media and plastic surgery and how this digital age has managed to change the perception of what “normal” is.
