This week we are talking to Joe Barksdale. Now you may or may not know that name. He was an offensive tackle in the NFL who, upon his retirement from game, decided to become a musician and a comedian. His Star Wars connection is that one of his first albums is called The Kyber Tapes and it was recorded with a previous Around the Galaxy Guest, impressionist Kevin Cabral. Joe is a lifelong Star Wars fan who is also autistic and is very open about his challenges with mental illness. He is also one of the funniest guests we’ve ever had on the show. We also tackle some real issues and his point of view. The language is uncensored, the conversation is real, and the interview does at times go a little off the rails.
