There are some forests that you want to stay in for days and a few that just scream, “stay away if you value your life.” In Japan, to the west of Tokyo, at the southern end of Mount Fuji, is the Aokigahara forest. Not a good place to take a walk. Aokigahara Forest is sometimes referred to as the most popular site for suicide in Japan. The cliffs of Tojimbo, with their uninterrupted view of the Sea of Japan and their sheer drop into the raging sea below are a common tourist attraction. This is also a popular suicide spot. Ill go over some places to stay away from.
