Jacob Waltz was from Germany. When people asked where he was from he would say Deutschland. This led people to think he was Dutch. Waltz was said to have found the richest gold mine in the country. When he died people began searching for his lost mine. many of them died under bizarre conditions. Even today, people go looking for the Lost Dutchman's Mine to never return.
