The World's Largest Ball of Twine, and it’s still growing. In Cawker City, Kansas is the over 19,000 pounds and somewhere over 7 million feet of sisal twine. Frank Stoeber started this ball by winding 1.6 million feet of twine into an 11-foot-diameter sphere. Why did he do it? Who knows?Carhenge was conceived in 1987 by Jim Reinders as a memorial to his father. The full-scale replica of England’s famous Stonehenge is built entirely from old cars. There are 38 cars, painted gray. Some of the vehicles are half-buried, others are welded together, and some jut from the ground at odd angles, mimicking the present configuration of Stonehenge.
