We are embarking on a 3 episode series disecting the role of the housewife in American culture. This week's episode looks at how we got here. We'll talk about some of the attitudes we have percieved as women in the workplace, in the home, and church. This week will set the stage for the next two weeks where we will discuss what isn't working about the current distribution of home responsibilities, and ways to improve the dynamic.
