November 13th through 19th is National Nurse Practitioner Week and this year’s theme is NPs: Rising to meet the needs of patients. The American Association of Nurse Practitioners or the AANP is the association that represents more than 335,000 nurse practitioners across the country. Nurse practitioners are key healthcare professionals, and we answer the call where we’re needed. Many NPs practice in rural and underserved settings where there are many healthcare disparities and there is a gap in access to care. Thank you to my NP colleagues for all that you do for our patients!
