This week I'm discussing the case of Timothy Spencer, better known as the Southside Strangler. During the mid 80's, Spencer went on a killing spree in Virginia. An innocent man went to prison for Tim's first murder. The up and coming forensic science known as DNA "fingerprinting" was used to free David Vasquez and put Timothy Spencer in the electric chair.
