Today Mr. Hoffmann will be interviewing retired Division Chief (of Training), David Cain, who served the residents of Boulder, Colorado for over 34 years.
A true leader in the fire service who’s earned his honor and respect upon his dedication to lead others as Incident Commander of many notable wildfires, expanded the HAZMAT team, created the SWAT paramedic program, and as the first Terrorism Logistics Officer, created emergency response plans for three Presidential visits and developed an emergency medical response team for the University of Colorado home football teams before retiring in 2013.
Since retirement, Chief Cain has since served many roles, including as a consultant for PSTrax and a co-owner/member of The Blue Cell incident command training program.
Chief Cain holds a BS in Psychology.
