Porcius Festus succeeded Felix as governor. Since Paul insisted he was innocent, Festus was forced to send him on to Caesar to appeal his case. In the meantime, King Agrippa and his sister Bernice came to call on Festus. Festus told them about Paul. Agrippa said he would like to hear from Paul himself.
