This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana welcome Mike back on the podcast to discuss the 1984 horror (?) cult classic C.H.U.D. Yikes. This is the kind of movie that always seems to be so highly regarded amongst horror nerds, yet there is nothing here. Decent cast (half the adults from Home Alone are here) and an ok premised, but man, does this movie drag, with no actual C.H.U.D.s showing up until about the 30 minute mark. And when they do....let's just say, it doesn't compare to some of the make up effects that we have already seen, doing it better, in 1984. We find out during the corse of this movie that C.H.U.D actaully stands for 2 different things. Well, I have a thrid one. Completely Horrid, Unmitigated Disaster. But enjoy the podcast.
