This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana welcome Mac back on as we discuss the 1984 Stephen King adaptation Children of the Corn. That's right. They took an 8 page short story and made an 11 movie franchise out of that. And it is apparent from the first movie that they have to stretch things out, as Sarah Connor and some dude drive around for about an hour just looking for trouble as they pad this out to make it a feature length movie. And the casting call must have said something along the lines of "If you have a strange looking kid, bring him to the audition" cuz there are some strange looking kids in this one. Anyway, we still had fun disucssing this trainwreck as we continue on with our early Halloween deep dive. Beware of the Man who walks behind the rows, and enjoy the podcast.
