This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana discuss the 1984 holiday slasher flick Silent Night, Deadly Night. This movie was a big deal back in the day for showing a Santa Claus serial killer, but by today's standards is kind of tame. It was banned around the world at the time, which, of course, only makes it more of a cult favorite. This movie has no cast and less of a budget, but it was still fun to watch and celebrate the holidays with mass murder. This is our special Christmas episode, and the last full episode of 2024. We had a great time this year discuss all the good, bad and ugly of 1984 and want to thank all of our guests that took time out of their lives to venture to the Exciting and New studio to bring their unique takes on the movies we discussed, and of course thank our listener for all the valuble feedback and downloads. 1985 is already gearing up to be tons of fun, with a full slate of classics ready to be discussed.
