This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana discuss the "Rock & Roll Fable", Streets of Fire. In this movie, Cherry Valance is kidnapped by the Green Goblin, and Eddie (from Eddie and the Cruisers) and Dark Helmet (yeah, you read that right) fight to get her back. This movie has not exactly stood the test of time, but there is something there that isn't half bad. Unless you are talking about the acting. It is amazing any of these actors went on to other roles, because if this was your sizzle reel, you ain't getting another job. Anyway, this ends the summer season for the Exciting & New crew. We have already lined up a staggering list of movies and guests for the Halloween season, so much so that we need to start in September.
