This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana are joined for the first time, but hopefully not the last time, by Andy's oldest, Daniel. He felt it was about time he got off the couch and got into the hot seat as we discuss the 1984 crime, mob-adjacent drama, The Pope of Greenwich Village. Mickey Rourke, still young and in all his hottness, is led astray by his dim-witted cousin Eric Roberts as they rip off a local mob boss and have to pay the price. The price? THEY TOOK MY THUMB, CHARLIE!! Eric Robert's acting is over the top in the movie. Almost to the point that this movie becomes a comedy. Is it supposed to be funny? We all laughed. Anyway, this was an interesting movie to initiate Daniel on and we hope we didnt frighten him off. Enjoy the pod.
