With all the treatments and support systems available for death and dying, today we are talking about a specific one--Hospice. Although almost half of all Americans die in hospice care, many patients who could benefit from hospice don’t know about it or enroll at the very end of their life, missing out on the benefits. Our guest, Karen Gordon, a hospice social worker, explains the process.
