Dr. Michael Harvey is a New Zealand science educator based in Malaysia. He is a MIEExpert, Flipgrid Global ambassador, Wakelet Ambassador, Apple Teacher, SDG Ambassador, and Level 2 Google educator. Michael is the ISTE Global PLN event chair and involved in both the Tanzanian Root and Shoots SDG Laboratory Schools and Kakuma refugee project with Koen Timmers and Dr. Jennifer Williams. His educational research interests are the use of digital animations (ie. AR/VR) to enhance student understanding of complex abstract scientific concepts and linking this to cognitive psychology. Michael enjoys connecting globally with educators and learners.
