No one owes us anything, but there is a level expectation in friendships and relationships that there should be reciprocity. We should both be giving to each other; friendships can’t be one-sided. Now while you both may be doing for each other; it may not be equal. So we have to know that how we give to our friends my not be given back exactly, but there has to be some form of reciprocity. If not, then you should reevaluate the friendship.
Make sure you are sowing in good ground. Everyone is not deserving of your money, time, and resources. People are users and will use you up and disappear. So be careful because generous people have a tendency to always look for the good in others when there is no good. Use discernment in your giving so you don’t get used up.
