Special guests, Holland natives, and Heroes Den Bosch teammates: Thomas van der Mars and Boy van Vliet join Mike (LIVE from his hospital suite) to share their stories wanting to play in the United States at a young age and the hard work it took to get there. Thomas and Boy share their experiences of both attending Canarias Basketball Academy in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Thomas and Boy talk about what is was like at CBA training three times a day for months at a time and how that sharpen them physically, mentally, and their competitive stamina.
