Tyren Johnson is on this episode of the podcast. Growing up in Vacherie, Louisiana, Tyren shares his story of originally being immersed with baseball from the young age of four and ironically transitioning to basketball when he was about 16. From not making his school's basketball program, to finally making the varsity team in 10th grade and only playing a single year of AAU in his senior year, Tyren managed to sharpen his skillset over time and would eventually be named All-Conference Player of the year at University of Louisiana-Lafayette. Listen to this full episode to hear the rest of Tyren's journey of growing from 5'8" to 6'4" in a summer, learning to lift by reading Men's Health magazine, having multiple NBA summer league opportunities, and playing abroad in several different countries.
