I hope my recap does not sound like an old mans's take of the VMAs but an avid watcher of the VMAs over the years and a fan of new music.
The show had moments of depravity that did not make it on the live show while it did have some debauchery on stage. I think it has more to do with the choices of music MTV choice to present tonight and how it turned out.
