What is the first thing you think of when you hear the term “bipolar”?
Dysfunctional, crazy, unstable, lunatic? How about “broken”?
That's what Michelle Reittinger thought the first time she was diagnosed with this illness back in 1998. All she could think about when she heard the words come out of her doctor's mouth was, “I'm broken.”
Michelle had always known that there was something wrong, but she just thought it was her fault, and that if she tried harder, she could fix herself.
But now the doctor was telling her that there was something wrong with her brain chemistry and that with medication they could help her to manage the symptoms.
Only medication didn't help. After years of trying new treatments, struggling to cope, and watching her family suffer along with her, Michelle lost hope.
Until the day she was introduced to natural supplements. She thought, "Why not give it a try?"
Miraculously, it began working and today Michelle lives a full life and helps others to learn to live with their diagnosis as well.
