On the latest episode of MiCannaCast, Cannadave & Groovee discuss the potential Delta 8 Ban here in Michigan. We get into the news Regarding the MCMA (Michigan's Cannabis Manufacturers Association) and what Steve Linder said during his interview regarding caregivers and restricting plant count in Michigan. The last topic we talk about is the growth of Cannabis sales in the state of Michigan up 157%.
Delta 8
With many states banning Delta 8 for more regulations we decided to pick up a disposable vape of Delta 8 to try. it contains .3% THC which we believe is under the mandatory limit for the vapes. It doesn't get you high at all. We both believe it did help with calming and being relaxed similar to the CBD flower we tried in the past. We don't see why it's getting regulated but just because you can buy it at a gas station or smoke shop. If anything just makes it 21 and up no need to take it off the shelves compeltelty. Have you tried Delta 8 before? If you have let us know what you thought about it.
MCMA (Michigans Cannabis Manufacturers Association)
Steve Linder of the MCMA was recently interviewed by Growinin to discuss the cannabis market here in Michigan. He was asked how he feels about the caregivers and possibly restricting plant count for medical patients, caregivers, wouldn't be surprised for adult use as well too. We both stand firm on our stance against Steve Linder and the MCMA.
The MCMA is forgetting who started the programs here in the State of Michigan. Michigan's quality of cannabis has come from the caregivers, the caregivers built the industry on their sweat, blood, and tears to make it where it's at now. We don't believe in restricting plant count for anyone in the state caregivers medical or even adult-use. We can't turn our back on the people who built this industry in the state of Michigan who took all the risks when it was deemed illegal or even risky.
Caregivers paved the way for big businesses to come in get their licenses while many caregivers have yet to even get into the legal market because of just capital to get a license and all the extra money to get your building going.
We need to come together as a community instead of trying to restrict our growing community with plant counts. We need to help the people in jail get free, Stop the idea of 5 nanograms of THC in your blood considers you impaired driving, Let's get more research is done on the cannabis plant THC, CBD, Terpenes, and more.Lets do this together stop the restricting of plant count don't take away people's rights that we voted in. Nobody will still buy your product you need to work on quality or rethink marketing and how you have everything set up. Let us know your opinion on the MCMA? do you like the brands? will you continue to support them?
Michigan April Sales
The sales of Michigan Cannabis continue to grow rapidly here in Michigan with many cities still opting out of either adult-use or medical. Sales went up 157% in the month of April with Flower leading the way and Vape cartridges right behind with sales. Edibles came in third with concentrates rounding out the top 4. This proves we don't need to restrict the people's plant count and caregivers' plant count. The state of Michigan is on pace to pass a 1 billion in cannabis sales this year alone. There is enough money for everyone in the State of Michigan to have a successful cannabis business.
