The New Episode of MiCannaCast focuses on Cannadave and Groovee's trip to a couple of provisioning centers across town. learn about our experience what we like and didn't like. We have a flower review on the HeavyWeight Heads Sunshine strain. Also, the MRA just announced regulations and rules regarding the packaging of cannabis-infused edibles in the state.
HeavyWeight Heads Sunshine
We kick off the episode with a review on Sunshine grown by HeavyWeight Heads. We have had this strain in the past multiple times when it was available at 420 Dank. Heavyweight heads are affiliated with Trick Trick who is huge cannabis advocated also producer, writer, artist, and more. Sunshine to us reminds us of smoking 6 years ago and the original sunshine that won the High Times Cannabis Cup back in or 16. It always has had a unique taste and high when you are experiencing the strain. Have you had Sunshine before? If so let us know if you like it or don't. Have you tried HeavyWeight Heads? Road Trip
We did a mini trip hitting 3 provisioning shops in 3 different cities across Macomb and Oakland county. The first stop was Green Budda because we thought they were still carrying the brand of heavyweight heads but we come to find out they don't carry that product at all. The place was very fast pace something we didn't care too much for. The fast pace makes it feel like you are just a number in and out. didn't answer much of our questions which isn't the best.
The second spot we stopped in at was Cookies Detroit. Cookies Detroit is affiliated with Gage Cannabis and obviously Berner and the cookie brand. Cookies Detroit is still the only medical shop and the reason we went there was because we knew Trick Trick and Berner are collabing on genetics. We were right and found the Heavy Weight HEads brand at Cookies Detroit. We picked up that and ended up leaving we just wanted to get that flower for the review. Cloud Cannabis was the final stop of the day for us and that was in Utica. This is crazy because it's the furthest dipso in Macomb county that is open for both medical and adult use. Cloud Cannabis Utica was packed let me tell you. IT was only opened for drive-thru and pick up you couldn't walk into the store. that was very frustrating to us because we like to go into shops and look around and take our time. We felt a little rush here as well just like the first location of Green Budda.
MRA Packaging Update
Edibles in the state of Michigan can't appease children. They have to have no fruit or cartoons on the packaging. They must also make sure that it says THC in bold or that is very noticeable on the product packaging. this is something we knew was coming but the changes must be done by the processor by Feb 2022 so you still have about 6 months to update your packaging.
