You know this group for hits like So Into You, Spooky, Champagne Jam, and Imaginary Lover. The Atlanta Rhythm Section has released 15 albums during their stellar career and has been paired to contemporaries like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Eagles, and Fleetwood Mac. In 1975, they appeared with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, then they opened for The Who and The Rolling Stones for concerts in Florida. Their hard work paid off. Their album, A Rock and Roll Alternative released in 1976/ It rose to number 13 on the Billboard chart and was certified gold in the spring of 1977. Their debut single from that album So Into You peaked at number 7. ARS has a huge fan base and is still captivating audiences with a terrific blend of music styles.
