In this podcast, Joop talks about his favorite teachers, why he doesn’t want a traditional “office job” and why students should consider West Catholic High School. His biggest advice to students in helping them succeed: “Do your homework…..Reach out if you need help.”

Something classmates might not know about you: I enjoy having lengthy conversations with close friends.

Q&A:

• What do you love about the West Catholic community? I love how some teachers are absolute gems. My favorite memory is walking into the first day of Algebra II Junior year, then, when Mr. Lynch was doing attendance, he sighed, looked down, then said "I thought I got rid of you" (referring to me). We have a good relationship, but this one interaction is easily the funniest and most memorable.
• Tell us more about your favorite teacher or subjects. I enjoy the sarcasm of Mrs. Shymko. It just feels so honest and refreshing. The minor conflict is more exciting than the smooth platitudes of all the other classes I take.
