Description

When people say “it’s raining cats and dogs”, it’s typically metaphorical, right? Well, yes and no. The following cases are quite literally about objects falling from the sky that are not water. The official term for this strange phenomenon is non-aqueous rain and there have numerous reported cases of everything from meat, frogs, jellyfish, and spiders falling from the sky.
