A reading from James 5:8
“You also must be patient. Keep your hopes high, for the day of the Lord’s coming is near.”
Let us pray,
Merciful God,
You know all my impatience, and my complaints. When I face things I cannot change, I get frightened, especially when I move away from your presence. Even though I am aware of your great love for me, I struggle whenever I go through difficult situations.
Help me think more of the fact that what you have in mind is better than my own wants and plans. I want to always desire only to do your will. Help me trust that you are in control of every circumstance I go through every single day, bad or good.
Come, Holy Spirit. Fill my heart, my mind, and soul with God’s presence. Make me patient that I always choose to trust God’s plan and will for my life. Thank you, God, my Father. You make all things work for me because of your love I have experienced through faith in Jesus Christ. You do all to enable me to live as you created me to be since the beginning of everything. For that, I am very thankful. In your holy name, I pray. Amen.

“También debes ser paciente. Mantengan altas sus esperanzas, porque el día de la venida del Señor está cerca”.
Oremos,
Dios misericordioso,
Tú conoces toda mi impaciencia y mis quejas. Cuando me enfrento a cosas que no puedo cambiar, me asusto, especialmente cuando me alejo de tu presencia. Aunque soy consciente de tu gran amor por mí, lucho cada vez que paso por situaciones difíciles.
Ayúdame a pensar más en el hecho de que lo que tienes en mente es mejor que mis propios deseos y planes. Quiero desear siempre sólo hacer tu voluntad. Ayúdame a confiar en que tú tienes el control de todas las circunstancias por las que paso todos los días, malas o buenas.
Ven, espíritu santo. Llena mi corazón, mi mente y mi alma con la presencia de Dios. Hazme paciente para que siempre elija confiar en el plan y la voluntad de Dios para mi vida. Gracias, Dios, mi Padre. Tú haces que todas las cosas funcionen para mí por tu amor que he experimentado a través de la fe en Jesucristo. Haces todo para permitirme vivir como me creaste desde el principio de todo. Por eso, estoy muy agradecido. En tu santo nombre, oro. Amén.
