This week, we are praying for our children and youth as they go back to School here in the U.S. and around the world.
Let us first read this scripture, Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.” Psalm 127:1
As our children, teachers and all school staff begin the school year, we would like to pray for each one of them this week.
Join us please in a moment of prayer.
Heavenly Father,
We thank you for all our children as they return to school. It is such a blessing they can do so. We pray that you watch over and bless them through this school year. Give to our children the understanding and that as they learn you help them grow as Christian leaders. We also pray for teachers and school staff. Keep them all and protect them. We stand against all evil plans that aim at hurting our schools. We ask that you cancel them all in the name of Jesus. For students who do not have what they need for school we pray that you provide for each one of them. Keep every healthy and safe. In Christ’s name, we pray. Amen.
