Hi,
This week, we’re asking God to help us be grateful from Monday to Saturday no matter what we face.
First, let us read from Psalm 95:1-3,
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods.
There are many reasons why we should be thankful and show gratitude. If you are reading this publication, then that is the first thing you should be thankful for. You can access this note from a device meaning you have a reason to be grateful.
What about your sight? You do the above because you can see and hear in case you listen to this podcast. That’s another thing to be thankful for. Isn’t it?
Think of anything else you have. God wants you to thank HIM for that, and all the other things you may have at this time. Also, think of the people in your life: unpleasant or good. Each person you’ve ever met is a vessel God has used to make you who you are today. That’s another reason to be grateful.
Finally, the opportunity to pray knowing that there is a God who always hears you whenever you pray is the greatest reason to be thankful.
Join us in pray now, please:
Heavenly Father,
I will praise your name in song and glorify you with thanksgiving. You are the Lord and the great King ruling over my life. You are good and your love endures forever. Your faithfulness continues through all generations.
I give you thanks today because you have been so good to me. Your love for me never fails. I see your wonderful deeds in my life. Even when I do not notice your presence, I know that you are with me and my loved ones.
Thank you for every person I have ever known. Thank you for all the people I will know in the future. Help me that everyday I am thankful for all these relationships, past, present, and future, whether pleasant or unpleasant.
I choose not to be anxious about anything, but, in all circumstances I will lift all my struggles or challenging times to you, in prayer and with thanksgiving. Thank you for your peace, which guards my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. In his name, I pray. Amen.
