Today, we would like to thank God for the freedom we experience through faith in Christ.
We also pray asking God to set us free from anything that prevents us from becoming who God has called us to be.
Freedom is the greatest gift for all humans. The ultimate freedom, which the Bible talks about has to do with liberty, justice, and freedom from sin and all its powers.
Here are two scriptures that talk about Biblical freedom:
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (from John 8:36). Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (from 2 Corinthians 3:17). It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery (from Galatians 5:1).
This week, we encourage you to pray using the themes we have included (see below):
Please, pray with us;
Heavenly Father,
You sent Jesus Christ so that HE can set us free from spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, and financial slavery. Through faith in Christ, you give us freedom from sin and all its powers. As a result, we are more than conquerors. And, whatever situation we find ourselves in, we get out of it as winners. Instead of living enslaved to our sins, our past, our culture, consumerism, our desires, and more, we now live as free people who do not use our freedom to indulge the flesh. Our freedom has equipped us to serve one another humbly in love. Thank you for the freedom we have received from you through faith in Christ. Help us experience it throughout this week. In your Son’s name, we pray. Amen.
Thank you for praying with us today. Happy Fourth of July to all our American friends and families. God bless you!

How to pray this week:
On Monday - pray for those who struggle with any personal sins: sexual immortality, pornography addictions, adultery.
On Tuesday - pray for those who have been dealing with any form of addictions: alcoholism, drugs abuse, domestic violence, overuse of computers/internet, pain seeking, cutting, shopping.
On Wednesday - pray for those who are physically enslaved to other people around the world.
On Thursday - ask God to help people who are financially enslaved to loans, and any form of financial debts.
On Friday - pray asking God people freedom to worship since there are countries that do not allow their citizens to do so like here in the U.S., and other nations in the West.
On Saturday and Sunday, as we always encourage you to do, find a place where you can join other Christians for worship.
