Today (Monday, March 14 2022), we pray asking God to strengthen and guide us.
A reading from Psalm 91:1,
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.”
Let us pray:
Most gracious and loving God, you rule over all creatures and have control over everything. I come to you asking you to guide me towards you. Without your help and you leading me, I cannot find my way in life.
Lead me to your will, to what you have in mind for me, which I cannot do on my own. Strengthen me through the power of the Holy Spirit, and help me center everything about me on you alone.
As I go through this week, remove from me every unrighteousness and let your light shine in those places of my life where there’s still some darkness. Shield me against anything, unseen or seen, which will try to move me away from you.
You know that I am set in the midst of many dangers, which are, in a lot of ways, a result of our human sinfulness (and the powers of darkness), and, sometimes, of my own choices. Grant me your strength and protection that I am able to face anything that comes my way, knowing you are walking me through Christ, and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Hoy, oramos pidiendo a Dios que nos fortalezca y nos guíe.
Una lectura del Salmo 91:1,
“El que habita al abrigo del Altísimo, morará a la sombra del Todopoderoso”.
Oremos:
Dios misericordioso y amoroso, tú gobiernas sobre todas las criaturas y tienes dominio sobre todas las cosas. Vengo a ti para pedirte que me guíes hacia ti. Sin tu ayuda y tu guía, no puedo encontrar mi camino en la vida.
Condúceme a tu voluntad, a lo que tienes pensado para mí, que yo solo no puedo hacer. Fortaléceme a través del poder del Espíritu Santo y ayúdame a centrar todo sobre mí solo en ti.
A lo largo de esta semana, quita de mí toda injusticia y deja que tu luz brille en esos lugares de mi vida donde todavía hay algo de oscuridad. Protégeme contra cualquier cosa, invisible o visible, que intente alejarme de ti.
Sabes que estoy en medio de muchos peligros, que son, en muchos sentidos, el resultado de nuestra pecaminosidad humana (y los poderes de las tinieblas) y, a veces, de mis propias elecciones. Concédeme tu fuerza y protección para que pueda enfrentar cualquier cosa que se me presente, sabiendo que me estás caminando a través de Cristo y en el poder del Espíritu Santo. Amén.
